A quick update for all of you. The Apex Zodiac issue came out last month, edited by the wonderful Sheree Thomas. She picked an amazing crop of stories and I’m honored that my Scorpio story, “Jewel of the Vashwa” is among them.
It deals with vengeance and lies; betrayal and war. It has two cultures who are at odds, but also in love. And one of them is the Scorpion Men of the Ratch; the other are the soft skinned women of the Vashwa.
“Jewel of the Vashwa” is a story I wrote in March of 2018 and is my most current published story to date. Other recent publications, such as “Three Dandelion Stars” and “Rose Garden Funeral of Storts” were written in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
About “Rose Garden Funeral of Sorts,” it was nominated by Cotton Xenomorph for Best of the Net 2018.
I am honored and humbled to be nominated for Best of the Net. I am also humbled and honored by the wonderful reaction to “Jewel of the Vashwa.”
Thank you everyone for your support and kindness.
I hope the summer has been treating you well.
